The City of Appleton’s Memorial Day Ceremony
 

Information on the "Moment of Remembrance" ceremony will be added to this page as it becomes available.

The ceremony takes place immediately following the Parade in historic Riverside Cemetery, 714 North Owaissa Street, Appleton, at the George D. Eggleston, G.A.R. monument.
 
A short, second ceremony occurs after the city ceremony at the Appleton American Legion Post No. 38 plot in the same cemetery. This plot is located at the entrance of St. Joseph Cemetery within Riverside.

Program for Moment of Remembrance

Moment of Remembrance combines sacred ceremonies to honor Memorial Day, talks by local high school youth, music by bands and soloists, and a closes with a benediction, rifle salute, and taps. Check this page later for further detail.
