The City of Appleton’s Memorial Day Ceremony
 

The ceremony takes place immediately following the Parade in historic Riverside Cemetery, 714 North Owaissa Street, Appleton, at the George D. Eggleston, G.A.R. monument.

A short, second ceremony occurs after the city ceremony at the Appleton American Legion Post No. 38 plot in the same cemetery. This plot is located at the entrance of St. Joseph Cemetery within Riverside.

 
 
Ceremony Keynote Speaker will be Anna Teerlinck

Anna Teerlinck, a freshman at Xavier High School, is honored to be chosen to deliver this year's Memorial Day keynote address. Anna is a top competitor on the speech and debate team, active in Mock Trial, and a member of the cross country team. She will earn the Gold Award through Girl Scouts of America this year and is very active in many community youth music groups with her primary instrument of violin and secondary instrument of piano.
